I wrote a story for The Illawarra Flame about the writer Roger Simpson. I spoke with him ahead of his sessions in the South Coast Writer's Festival's upcoming Readers & Writers festival. During my internship at The Illawarra Flame, I wrote a story about the Australian amateur debut of American Psycho the musical, which showed at IPAC theatre in Wollongong.

I had the opportunity to photograph the launch of Dreaming Inside's 12 Edition. The photos include Dr Aunty Barbara Nicholson, other speakers and attendees, and Aboriginal artworks on auction. On May31st, the photos were featured in the Illawarra Flame's digital edition.

I attended the Reel Music concert at Wollongong Art Gallery, performed by Steel City Strings orchestra, and talked to members of the audience about their favourite moments of the cinema-inspired soundscape. I also went along to the Winter Wonder Women's moonlight solstice swim, eager to find out about the magic of a cold water dip.
