FAQ: What the heck is this?
I’m writing this introduction because it feels too strange just to post these pieces without context. To be fair, there’s not a lot to explain. I’m not in the slightest bit educated about the traditional rules or forms that poetry is supposed to follow. I wasn’t paying enough attention when they taught us that in school.
Sometimes, I think in fragments, resulting in these semi-structured pieces that I’m not sure I can call poetry because there’s little to no craft in it. I’ve posted some of them before, mixed in with other posts, but I thought it would be fun to put them all together. They feel honest, like I’ve managed sometimes to write things exactly as I think about them or experience them. Naturally, I wanted to share. They might not make much sense to anyone but me, but I hope you take something from them nonetheless.
